Arsenal land Ian Wright in record-breaking £2.5 million transfer
Arsenal completed the signing of Ian Wright from Crystal Palace for a then club-record £2.5 million. Wright scored on his debut against Leicester City and went on to become Arsenal’s top scorer for six consecutive seasons.
